Microsoft has announced that it is opening two new offices in the USA. The company will be targeting IT jobs in the Washington DC and Austin, Texas areas. These two locations are among the top five in the US for IT jobs. Microsoft will have over twenty branches across the United States. The University of Florida in Gainesville is ranked number one in the US for computer science and number three for engineering. It is also ranked among the top colleges for students studying engineering in the country. The school has many colleges that offer computer engineering, electrical engineering and environmental technology as major courses.
